After a sorority moves in next door, which is even more debaucherous than the fraternity before it, Mac and Kelly have to ask for help from their former enemy, Teddy.
Bad Neighbours 2 sees the return of parents Mac (Seth Rogen) and Kelly (Rose Byrne) who are ready to make their final move into adulthood by selling their first home together but before they can get on with their lives they have to get though a 30 day waiting period with no problems.
Meanwhile Shelby (Chloë Grace Moretz), Beth (Kiersey Clemons) and Nora (Beanie Feldstein) just want to be able to party they way they want to party but to do it they will need help. Zac Effron reprises his role as Teddy from the first film, this time helping the girls to create a sorority that they would be happy with.
However their new sorority is right next door to Mac and Kelly who have just started their 30 day waiting period. As the sorority starts getting more popular tensions start to rise between the neighbours and it is not long until all out war starts between them which leads them both to do some pretty crazy stuff.
It was interesting to see the different dynamics in this film between the girls who were just starting out, their neighbours who are trying to cope with family life and Teddy who is still trying to figure out who he is. There is a lot going on in this film and it handles all of it with a great sense of humour and by being a bit weird and wacky.
This film has a fairly similar plot to the first one that sees a family trying to get rid of its new neighbours except this time they are trying to get rid of a sorority. However these girls really care about what they have created and only with the help of a former enemy will the parents stand any chance of success.
Bad Neighbours 2 is not a film that is going to win any awards, it is never going to be classed as piece of ground breaking cinema but it is a good time. If you haven’t seen the first one then I would recommend going to watch that first, if you like Seth Rogan or any of these people then I am sure you will enjoy watching this film.
